Minutes of April 16, 2008

 The President, David White at 7:05 called the meeting to order. Twenty-five members were present. This was the first meeting at Warren’s Vintage Ford's new location in Acton. Warren had tables and chairs set up for us to enjoy his new building, thanks Warren.

 The new Treasurer, Rick Sylvester reported the checking account balance to be $219.41. The clubs new checking account has not yet been set-up.

 The minutes of the March meeting were read and accepted.

 The need to simplify our By-Laws was discussed and all were in favor of change.
Pat Gregoire volunteered to head this project. She asked that members make suggestions to accomplish this task. Rick Sylvester was willing to help in anyway.  Pat will bring the new By-Laws to the May meeting to be voted on, by the membership.

 MAFCA may require all club members to also be members of the national club.

 Harvey Lipman arrived with the clubs new banners. Members had their picture taken with the banner. Harvey will send this off to MAFCA, for reprinting in the Restorer.

 Tour and meet coordinator, Harvey Lipman mentioned that he would be planning a couple of events per month this summer. So as to get everyone involved, he will plan events that are of different time periods.

 The meeting adjourned at 7:45.

 It was then engine-pulling time. David Gould had his 1930 Phaeton there for engine removal.
