The weather was fine for the four days we spent down in the Nutmeg state. 160 vehicles signed up and 140 showed up. Our group took a side trip to the Gillette Castle on Friday. The Grand tour on Saturday took us along the Connecticut River where we had lunch and A’s were judged. All told, Frank Kennedy's Tudor put on 531 miles, the Brissettes drove 466 while Mike and Christine drove almost 800 miles each.
Members from the Pine Tree A’s who made the trek to the 66th New England Meet included Kristin Edwards and Donald Urbanik, Linda and John Brissette, Trish and Bruce Marshall, Sarah Brauch, Christine MacKenzie and Mike Brauch.
The Pine Tree A’s had three award-winning cars! Christine’s 1930 Deluxe Roadster won second place in the 30-31 open class, Bruce Marshall’s 1931 Slant Windshield Sedan won second place in the 30-31 closed class, and John and Linda Brissette’s 1931 Tudor won third place in that class. Congrats to all!
"...The location was perfect, people were wonderful, the Grand tour to the Bahre Estate was awesome (we wanted to drive away with every car there), the meals were great, an exceptional Raffle room, and the Pine Tree “A’s” really know how to have a perfect Regional Meet..."
